In pursuance of the Action Plan of the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) for performance evaluation, assessment, accreditation, and quality up-gradation of higher education institutions, Ganga Global Institute of Management Studies (GGIMS), Begusarai has established the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) as a post-accreditation quality sustenance measure.
Recognizing that quality enhancement is a continuous and dynamic process, IQAC at GGIMS functions as a core system of the institution and works towards the realization of the goals of quality enhancement and sustenance. The primary objective of IQAC is to develop a mechanism for conscious, consistent, and catalytic improvement in the overall performance of the institution. During the post-accreditation period, it channelizes all efforts and institutional measures towards promoting holistic academic excellence.
STRATEGIES
IQAC at GGIMS evolves mechanisms and procedures for:
Ensuring timely, efficient, and progressive performance of academic, administrative, and financial tasks
Maintaining the relevance and quality of academic and research programmes (MBA, MCA, BBA, BCA)
Promoting equitable access and affordability of academic programmes for all sections of society
Optimization and integration of modern teaching-learning methods, including ICT-enabled pedagogy
Ensuring transparency and credibility in evaluation and assessment procedures
Monitoring the adequacy, maintenance, and effective functioning of support structures and student services
Promoting research collaboration, sharing, and networking with institutions in India
FUNCTIONS
The IQAC of GGIMS performs the following functions:
Development and application of quality benchmarks and parameters for academic and administrative activities
Facilitating a learner-centric environment conducive to quality education and faculty development
Collection and analysis of feedback from students, parents, alumni, employers, and other stakeholders
Dissemination of information on quality parameters in higher education
Organization of inter- and intra-institutional workshops, seminars, FDPs, and quality-related programmes
Documentation of academic and administrative activities leading to quality enhancement
Acting as a nodal agency for coordinating quality-related initiatives and best practices
Development and maintenance of institutional databases
Promotion of quality culture within the institution
Preparation and submission of the Annual Quality Assurance Report (AQAR) as per NAAC guidelines

As per the guidelines of the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC), the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) of GGIMS is constituted with representation from management, faculty, administration, students, alumni, employers, and external experts to ensure inclusive and participatory quality enhancement.
