Chairman Message
Bihar has a land area of 99,200 sq km and a population of 10.41 crore(as per census 2011). The state has highest density of population in the country. In higher Education it has only 17% GER (Gross Enrollment Ratio) as compared to 24% GER of National Average. It lags most of the other parameters of development, It needs large number of developmental and professional institutes. Begusarai is the most industrialized district of Bihar with an area of 1920 square kilometers and a population of around 30 lakh (for the present). It has a large number of Industries such as Barauni (IOCL) oil refinery, thermal power plant, fertilizer factory which is about to commence its production in 2020, Barauni Dairy, a large multiproduct dairy in cooperative sector, Ganga Dairy the largest dairy of eastern India in the private sector and many other large units. It has a large number of medium and small industrial units. Besides these, it has around 25 dealers of motor vehicles, tractors, agroimplements and agro products. Further, the Begusarai district city and peripheral towns are expanding exponentially. Even subdivisional towns like Ballia, Teghra, etc can boast of its own malls. Almost every big name in retail like V Mart, City Cart, V2 Mall, Aditya Vision, Reliance Trend and the like are already present in the city. All these enterprises have a large requirement of trained manpower in business management. We propose to strengthen the various industrial, retail and marketing
activities by providing trained manpower.
We have reached out to 200 such enterprises in the district and assessed their requirement of trained managerial
manpower. Every one of them is hopeful
that by getting well groomed managerial
manpower, they will be able to strengthen
their business activities.
The offerings are in Marketing & Sales
Management and Retail Management.
These branches of study with rigorous field
training will prepare business managers for
FMCG and retail trade which offer large
employment opportunity through out the
country.
It is a matter of pride and pleasure to recall
that the trust(Brajesh Kumar Foundation)
established the First B.Ed College of
Begusarai and within 5 years, there are 6
B.Ed. colleges. Thus, we have been a pacesetter
in the field of specialized/Professional
education in the district.
Bihar requires a large number of
entrepreneurs, especially the local
entrepreneurs which can put hard work with
managerial skills to develop the state.
However the things are changing and the
people of the state and the government are
resolved to develop the state and the lives of
the people. The Management college is an
effort dedicated to the cause.
We have been the Pathfinder. This gave us
enough confidence and strength to
establish the First Management College of
Begusarai and neighbouring districts.
Sarvesh Kumar
